The Spring Fashion Guide For Tall Men 2024

The spring fashion guide inspires you to find select looks to try for the first time or add to your already deep repertoire of styles for this spring.

You perhaps are like me, getting into routines of wearing the same look repeatedly no matter the season and sometimes going on for years and years.

I have been working on broadening my sense of style, adding a more grown man look to what I wear, and more importantly, growing my confidence in realizing I can wear much more than simple jeans and t-shirts.

And look pretty darn good while doing it when I find the perfect fitting clothes to put these looks togther.

So, let me help you find your look or looks for spring. The majority of these clothes have been reviewed on my site, so click through and learn a bit more about the product, then click through once more and make the purchase!

Spring Outfit 1: The Grown Man

As I mentioned above, I am working on evolving into the grown-man era. It takes a bit of time to get comfortable wearing dress pants like a chino or a shirt in everyday life, but it can be done.

The second part of getting this look down is finding the exact clothes that fit you precisely how you need them. Pulling this off with an ill-fitting shirt or pants will throw it all off.

With the milder weather and more sunny days, adding a shirt and dress pants with dressier shoes to your spring attire is a must.

Spring Outfit 2: The Fit Casual

For the second look, I put together a look that fits my desire to wear shorts with a sweater and be super comfortable but stylish in the spring weather.

I started the look with the Billy Sweater from Navas Lab, one of the more versatile sweaters I own. Once you own one, you will realize what I mean by saying this sweater is extremely comfortable and sits well on my frame.

Then I chose the shorts from Kronstadt because of the linen fabric, which gives me enough warmth if a cool breeze pops up and airy enough to keep me comfortable if the temperature picks up.

Technically, this is a very basic outfit that, if worn with any old pair of sweaters and shorts, perhaps a pair of dirty trainers, will give off a totally different vibe than what you want.

Don’t allow this to happen to you.

Spring Outfit 3: The Loose Linen

The fashion trend of tighter pants is in the past. The new look is to wear looser-fitting pants, pairing them with complimentary pieces that allow them to set the tone of the look.

These Premium Linen pants from MediumTall are perfect for helping you wean yourself off the tighter-fitting pants filling your closet (trust me, I used these this exact way! I, too, suffer from leaning towards tighter looks).

When pulling this off, you need to make sure the top you choose compliments the bottom half. Wearing the light-fabric Lyocell t-shirt from Son Of A Tailor with the off-the-rack flannel from American Tall was an easy choice to make this outfit work.

But the most important is the shoes. Lean towards a generally thicker shoe to support the pants’ cuff.

Spring Outfit 4: Chunky Layered

I added a look to this spring guide that may speak to the majority of you guys reading this who are still working on finding your new style and the confidence needed to change what you have become accustomed to.

The overshirt I am wearing has become my favorite piece of clothing. The Balance Overshirt is not a staple, but its fit and style allow me to wear it more often.

For those of you more accustomed to throwing on a hoodie with jeans or sweatpants, the chunky layered is the perfect spring outfit. It combines casual comfort with a hint of style.

And yes, it is as comfortable as if I had just thrown on those comfy sweats and a hoodie. The slight heft of the overshirt gives that feel, and wearing it open will feel more natural for you than buttoning up a shirt.

Add these straight-leg jeans and semi-chunk boots from Thursday Boots, and you have the perfect fit.
