Son Of A Tailor Pique T-Shirt Review

Son Of A Tailor Pique T-Shirt Review

The Son of a Tailor Pique T-shirt is an interesting T-shirt. Why I say this is because the Pique fabric is what is usually used to make Polo’s. So, picture putting on a polo, minus the collar, and this is what you get.

I’ll admit I last wore a polo when I was double-collaring them back at University in Louisiana (lime green and pink was my fave combo… what a style it was lol.) So, the texture and structure of the t-shirt threw me off the first time putting it on.

However, after reading up on the uniqueness of this creation plus styling it a few ways, I have a new appreciation for the Pique T-shirt.

If you are looking for a basic T-shirt to wear daily, this is likely not it. You’ll want to purchase their organic cotton t-shirt.

But, if you are levelling up your wardrobe with pieces of clothing that will not only help you stand out but keep you in the comfort bubble of T’s, then this is it.

With their made-to-measure system, Son of a Tailor offers a free remake of your pique t-shirt up to 4 months after purchase, and they even pay to ship it to you.

My dimensions are:

How to take care of your Pique T-Shirt

No matter how big a piece of clothing is, I am sure you are like me in always washing it in cold water and then letting it air dry. The chances of the hot water or hot air shrinking your Pique T-Shirt are too costly.

Once you have cleaned your t-shirt, put it away correctly and treat it with care to make it last as long as possible. Follow my guides on taking care of your t-shirt.

Pique T-Shirt material

  • 100% extra long staple Supima cotton
  • OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified
  • Medium-weight: 170 g/m2
  • No transparency

Pique T-Shirt styling

I chose to pair this White Pique T-shirt with a pair of blue chinos for a classic look. The heft of the Pique allows you to put together a more dressed up look like this, but also wear it un-tucked with a pair of loose fitting jeans and chunky shoes.

Are you in need of more pieces of clothing that are made for your long body?
