Son Of A Tailor Oxford Shirt Review

Son Of A Tailor Oxford Shirt Review

The Son of a Tailor Oxford Shirt is a well-designed classic look.

I can remember wearing the Oxford shirt in freshman high school. It was the only button-up shirt my mom could talk me into wearing for school pictures.

I wish it had fit as well as this, because then I would have started at least thinking about wearing something other than a hoodie throughout my entire high school time.

Son of a Tailor has done an excellent job on their version of the Oxford. It’s light, contours to my body well, and feels less cumbersome than other oxfords I have worn.

An area that stands out to me is the color choices they offer. The Lichen Green in is a must-have!

I have also chosen the Oxford shirt as the perfect shirt for building your wardrobe cost effectively.

My dimensions are:

Height: 6’7 / 201cm
Weight: 225lbs / 100kg
Shirt size: Made-to-measure

How to take care of your Oxford Shirt

No matter how big a piece of clothing is, I am sure you are like me in always washing it in cold water and then letting it air dry. The chances of the hot water or hot air shrinking your Oxford Shirt are too costly.

Once you have cleaned your shirt, put it away correctly and treat it with care to make it last as long as possible. Follow my guides on taking care of your Oxford Shirt.

Oxford Shirt material

  • 100% GOTS-certified organic cotton.
  • Medium-weight
  • No transparency

Oxford Shirt styling

The classic Oxford shirt works really well with a pair of chinos. I chose to wear it with a pair a of blue chinos and black dress shoes.
