Navas Lab Hawkins Tall Hoodie Review
The Navas Lab Hawkins Tall hoodie is a light, fashionable zip-up hoodie. Like the rest of the Navas Lab clothing line, this hoodie is not outsourced for cheaper creation. The hoodie is made in Canada in what feels like small source batches of high quality and very comfortable fabric.
The length of the hoodie sits perfectly on the top of my buttocks. This is the perfect length for my comfort level and keeps the hoodie fashionable. The cut from the shoulders to the chest, leading into the torso, is well done.
The sleeves are more like a jacket than your basic hoodie creation. From the elbow to the end of the sleeve, the fabric doesn’t stay tight around the forearm, with a cuff folding it in place on your wrist. Instead, the sleeve is loose, like a light jacket or windbreaker.
The Hawkins Tall Hoodie is great for Spring, Summer, and Fall because of the lightweight fabric it’s made from, which is very comfy. However, if you want to wear this in the winter, you will want to wear layers underneath or over top.
Lastly, I did find a few discrepancies between the three hoodies I reviewed on the cut of each piece. I think this is due to the more hands on creation and care that the line is made with. I emailed Navas Lab and they dealt with the issue of sizing right away. They make it clear on the website that they do free exchanges.

How to take care of your Hawkins Hoodie

Hawkins Tall Hoodie styling
When wearing your Hawkins hoody, think of layers to bring the most out of it. Underneath the hoodie, I am wearing a Navas Labs Crow Bamboo Cotton T-shirt, which is very comfortable and has a great fit and cut. Depending on the season, you can also think about throwing a long-sleeved shirt under it.
And then, on top of the hoodie, there are many options to work. I am wearing a leather jacket, but any style of jacket or vest will go well with this hoodie because of its thinner-cut fabric.
