2. Hydrogen Peroxide and Baking Soda

Hydrogen peroxide and baking soda are great for cleaning mesh shoes. Follow the steps below to use this method properly. 

  1. Brush or wipe your shoes to remove loose debris, dust, and dirt. Remove the shoelaces. 
  2. Mix a tablespoon of hydrogen peroxide, with a table spoon of baking soda, and a splash of water. Mix together to create a paste.
  3. Use a brush to gently apply the solution to the dirty part of your shoes.
  4. Use a circular motion with the brush and the solution to remove dirt and stains from the shoe. 
  5. Once all the dirt and stains are covered with the cleaning solution, let the shoes stand for 30 to 40 minutes so that the peroxide and baking soda can work their magic. 
  6. Rinse the shoes under cold water until the cleaning solution is completely removed from the mesh shoes. 
  7. Allow the shoes to air dry (try line drying.)
